Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9498 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ «كَيْفَ أَنْتَ يَا مَهْدِيُّ إِذَا ظُهِرَ لِخِيَارِكُمْ وَاسْتُعْمِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَحْدَاثُكُمْ أَوْ أَشْرَارُكُمْ وَصُلِّيَتِ الصَّلَاةُ لِغَيْرِ مِيقَاتِهَا؟» قُلْتُ لَا أَدْرِي قَالَ «لَا تَكُنْ جَابِيًا وَلَا عَرِيفًا وَلَا شُرَطَيًّا وَلَا بَرِيدًا وَصَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ لِمِيقَاتِهَا»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Mas'ud said to Mahdi: 'How will you be, O Mahdi, when the best among you are overpowered, the young or worst among you are given authority, and the prayer is performed outside its proper time?' He said: 'I do not know.' He said: 'Do not be a tax collector, a tribal leader, a policeman, or a courier, and pray the prayer at its proper time.'
