Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9151 حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْحَرَشِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ لَا تَخْلِطُوا بِالْقُرْآنِ مَا لَيْسَ فِيهِ فَإِنَّمَا هُمَا مُعَوِّذَتَانِ تَعَوَّذَ بِهِمَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ يَمْحُوهُمَا مِنَ الْمُصْحَفِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Mas'ud used to say: "Do not mix with the Quran what is not in it, for they are only two chapters of seeking refuge (mu'awwidhatan) with which the Prophet (peace be upon him) sought refuge: 'Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak' and 'Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind.'" And Abdullah used to erase them from the Mushaf.
