Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9006 حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا يُقَالُ لَهُ أَبُو الْعُبَيْدَيْنِ وَكَانَ رَجُلًا ضَرِيرًا وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ يَعْرِفُ لَهُ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ §الْمَاعُونِ فَقَالَ «الْفَأْسُ وَالدَّلْوُ» أَوْ قَالَ «الْفَأْسُ وَالْقِدْرُ» وَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ التَّبْذِيرِ فَقَالَ «إِنْفَاقُ الْمَالِ فِي غَيْرِ حِلِّهِ» وَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ الْأَوَّاهِ قَالَ «الرَّحِيمُ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
A man called Abu al-Ubaydin, who was blind and whom Abdullah ibn Mas'ud recognized, asked him about al-Ma'un. He said: 'The axe and the bucket,' or he said, 'the axe and the pot.' He asked him about squandering (tabdhir), and he said: 'Spending wealth in what is not lawful.' He asked him about al-Awwah, and he said: 'The merciful.'
