Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8413 حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَمَعَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ فَمَرُّوا عَلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا ابْنَ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ سَلْ تُعْطَهْ» قَالَ عُمَرُ ؓ «فَاسْتَبَقْتُ أَنَا وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ فَمَا اسْتَبَقْنَا إِلَى خَيْرٍ إِلَّا سَبَقَنِي إِلَيْهِ فَبَشَّرَهُ» قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ لَا أَدْرِي إِلَّا أَنَّ مِنْ دُعَائِي الَّذِي لَا أَكَادُ أَنْ أَدَعَهُ فِي صَلَاتِي اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ نَعِيمًا لَا يَنْفَدُ وَقُرَّةَ عَيْنٍ لَا تَبِيدُ وَمُرَافَقَةَ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ فِي أَعْلَى جَنَّةِ الْخُلْدِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) passed by with Abu Bakr and 'Umar while 'Abdullah was praying. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "O Ibn Umm 'Abd, ask and you shall be given." 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Abu Bakr and I raced to him, but whenever we raced to any good, he would beat me to it, so he (Abu Bakr) gave him the glad tidings." 'Abdullah said: "I do not recall except that among the supplications I would hardly ever leave in my prayer was: 'O Allah, I ask You for bliss that does not perish, coolness of the eye that does not cease, and the companionship of Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the highest Paradise of Eternity.'"
