Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8372 حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَا ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ أَنَّ وَفْدَ ثَقِيفٍ لَمَّا قَدِمُوا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنْزَلَهُمُ الْمَسْجِدَ لِيَكُونَ أَرَقَّ لِقُلُوبِهِمْ فَاشْتَرَطُوا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنْ لَا يُحْشَرُوا وَلَا يُعْشَرُوا وَلَا يُجَبُّوا وَلَا يُسْتَعْمَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ غَيْرِهِمْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لَا خَيْرَ فِي دَيْنٍ لَيْسَ فِيهِ رُكُوعٌ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
When the delegation of Thaqif came to the Prophet (peace be upon him), he lodged them in the mosque so that it would soften their hearts. They stipulated to the Prophet (peace be upon him) that they would not be conscripted, nor taxed, nor pruned (of their idols immediately), and that no outsider would be appointed over them. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "There is no good in a religion that has no bowing (prayer)."
