Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8147 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ أنا خَالِدٌ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَزِدِ شَنُوءَةَ يُقَالُ لَهُ ضِمَامٌ كَانَ بِالْيَمَنِ وَكَانَ يُعَالِجُ مِنَ الْأَرْوَاحِ فَقَدِمَ مَكَّةَ فَسَمِعَهُمْ يَقُولُونَ لِمُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ سَاحِرٌ وَكَاهِنٌ وَمَجْنُونٌ فَقَالَ لَوْ أَتَيْتُ هَذَا الرَّجُلَ لَعَلَّ اللهَ يَشْفِيهِ عَلَى يَدَيَّ فَلَقِيَهُ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ يَشْفِي عَلَى يَدَيَّ وَإِنِّي أُعَالِجُ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأَرْوَاحِ فَقَالَ «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ نَحْمَدُهُ وَنَسْتَعِينُهُ مَنْ يَهْدِ اللهُ فَلَا مُضِلَّ لَهُ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلْ فَلَا هَادِيَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ» فَقَالَ أَعِدْ عَلَيَّ فَأَعَادَ عَلَيْهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ قَوْلَ الْكَهَنَةِ وَقَوْلَ السَّحَرَةِ وَالشُّعَرَاءِ فَمَا سَمِعْتُ مِثْلَ هَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ وَلَقَدْ بَلَغَ قَامُوسَ الْبَحْرِ مُدَّ يَدَكَ أُبَايِعْكَ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ فَمَدَّ يَدَهُ فَبَايَعَهُ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ وَعَلَى قَوْمِي فَبَايَعَهُ عَلَى قَوْمِهِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man from Azd Shanu'ah called Dimam was in Yemen and used to treat ailments from spirits. He came to Makkah and heard them calling Muhammad (peace be upon him) a sorcerer, a soothsayer, and a madman. He said: "Perhaps if I came to this man, Allah would cure him at my hands." He met him and said: "O Muhammad, indeed Allah cures at my hands. I treat these ailments from spirits." He said: "Praise be to Allah, we praise Him and seek His help. Whoever Allah guides, none can misguide, and whoever He misguides, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger." He said: "Repeat that for me." He repeated it three times. He said: "I have heard the words of soothsayers, sorcerers, and poets, but I have never heard the like of these words. They have reached the depths of the sea. Extend your hand that I may pledge allegiance to you upon Islam." He extended his hand and pledged allegiance upon Islam, and [pledged] on behalf of his people.
