Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:7716 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْأَهْوَازِيُّ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ أَبِي حَرْبٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ الْكِنْدِيُّ ثنا عُفَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ سُلَيْمِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «شَهِيدُ الْبَحْرِ مِثْلُ شَهِيدَيِ الْبِرِّ وَالْمَائِدُ فِي الْبَحْرِ كَالْمُتَشَخِّطِ فِي دَمِهِ فِي الْبَرِّ وَمَا بَيْنَ الْمَوْجَتَيْنِ فِي الْبَحْرِ كَقَاطِعِ الدُّنْيَا فِي طَاعَةِ اللهِ وَإِنَّ اللهَ وَكَّلَ مَلَكَ الْمَوْتِ يَقْبِضُ الْأَرْوَاحَ إِلَّا شُهَدَاءَ الْبَحْرِ فَإِنَّهُ يَتَوَلَّى قَبْضَ أَرْوَاحِهِمْ وَيَغْفِرُ لِشُهَدَاءِ الْبَرِّ الذُّنُوبَ كُلَّهَا إِلَّا الدَّيْنَ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُ لِشُهَدَاءِ الْبَحْرِ الذُّنُوبَ كُلَّهَا وَالدَّيْنَ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Umamah reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say, 'The martyr of the sea is equal to two martyrs of the land. The one who becomes seasick in the sea is like one who is drenched in his blood on land. The time between two waves in the sea is like one who traverses the world in obedience to Allah. Allah has assigned the Angel of Death to take souls, except the martyrs of the sea, for He takes their souls Himself. He forgives the martyrs of the land all sins except debt, but He forgives the martyrs of the sea all sins including debt.'
