Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:5961 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ وَالثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً جَاءَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَوَهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لَهُ فَصَمَتَ ثُمَّ عَرَضَتْ نَفْسَهَا عَلَيْهِ فَصَمَتَ قَالَ فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهَا قَائِمَةً مَلِيًّا أَوْ هَوِيًّا تَعْرِضُ نَفْسَهَا عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ صَامِتٌ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ أَحْسَبُهُ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَكَ بِهَا حَاجَةٌ فَزَوِّجْنِيهَا فَقَالَ «أَلَكَ شَيْءٌ؟» قَالَ لَا وَاللهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «فَاذْهَبْ فَالْتَمِسْ شَيْئًا وَلَوْ خَاتَمًا مِنْ حَدِيدٍ» فَذَهَبَ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَقَالَ وَاللهِ مَا وَجَدْتُ شَيْئًا غَيْرَ ثَوْبِي هَذَا أَشُقُّهُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَا فِي ثَوْبِكَ فَضْلٌ عَنْكَ فَهَلْ تَقْرَأُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ شَيْئًا؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ «مَاذَا؟» قَالَ سُورَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَ «فَقَدْ مَلَّكْتُكَهَا بِمَا مَعَكَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ» قَالَ فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَمْضِي وَهِيَ تَتْبَعُهُ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Sahl ibn Sa'd narrated that a woman came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and offered herself to him. He was silent. She offered herself again, and he was silent. He said: I saw her standing a long while offering herself to him while he remained silent. A man stood up — I think he was from the Ansar — and said: "O Messenger of Allah, if you have no need of her, marry me to her." He said: "Do you have anything?" He said: "No, by Allah, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Go and look for something, even an iron ring." He went and came back and said: "By Allah, I found nothing except this garment of mine — I will split it between me and her." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "There is not enough in your garment for you. Do you know anything of the Quran?" He said: "Yes." He said: "What?" He said: "Surah such-and-such." He said: "I have given her to you in marriage for what you know of the Quran." He said: I saw him leaving with her following him.
