Abu Hazim said: I asked Sahl: "Did you ever see fine white flour (naqi)?" He said: "I never saw fine white flour until Allah took the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)." I said: "Did you have sieves during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)?" He said: "I never saw a sieve until Allah took His Messenger." I said: "Then how did you eat unsifted barley?" He said: "Yes, we would blow on it, and whatever flew away, flew away."
