Zayd ibn Arqam said: We used to say during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): "O Allah, our Lord, praise be to You." We did not say anything else until a man from the desert came and said during the prayer: "O Allah, our Lord, praise be to You — abundant, good, and blessed praise." The Prophet (peace be upon him) finished his prayer and said: "Who said it?" The man said: "I said it, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "I saw more than thirty angels racing to see which of them would record it first."
