Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:5037 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أُسَيْدٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بَزِيغٍ الْجَزَّارُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الْأَصْيَاغِيُّ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ لَمَّا أُصِيبَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ؓ قَامَ زَيْدُ بْنُ أَرْقَمَ إِلَى بَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ أَفَعَلْتُمُوهَا أَشْهَدُ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ أَسْتَوْدِعُكَهُما وَصَالِحَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ» فَقِيلَ لِعُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ إِنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَقَالَ ذَلِكَ شَيْخٌ قَدْ ذَهَبَ عَقْلُهُ
انگریزی ترجمہ
When al-Husayn ibn 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was killed, Zayd ibn Arqam stood at the door of the mosque and said: "Have you done it?! I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'O Allah, I entrust them to You, along with the righteous believers.'" It was said to 'Ubaydullah ibn Ziyad: "Zayd ibn Arqam said such-and-such." He said: "That is an old man who has lost his mind."
