Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:458 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ تُبْ إِلَى اللهِ ﷻ فَقَالَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الذَّهَبِ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ بِالْفِضَّةِ» وَقَالَ «إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمُ الرِّبَا؟» قُلْتُ لِعَطِيَّةَ مَا الرِّبَا؟ قَالَ «الزِّيَادَةُ وَالْفَضْلُ بَيْنَهُمَا»
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Atiyyah said: Abu Sa'id said to Ibn 'Abbas, may Allah have mercy on him: "Repent to Allah." He said: "I seek Allah's forgiveness and repent to Him." Abu Sa'id said: "Did you not know that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbade gold for gold and silver for silver?" and said: "I fear usury for you." I asked 'Atiyyah: "What is usury?" He said: "The increase and surplus between them."
