Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:4602 حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ مَرْثَدٍ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ حَدَّثَنِي عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَبِيعَةَ بْنَ رُوَاءَ الْعَنْسِيَّ قَدِمَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَوَجَدَهُ يَتَعَشَّى فَدَعَاهُ إِلَى الْعِشَاءِ فَأَكَلَ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَتَشْهَدُ أَنَّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ؟» قَالَ رَبِيعَةُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ قَالَ «رَاغِبًا أَمْ رَاهِبًا؟» قَالَ رَبِيعَةُ أَمَّا الرَّغْبَةُ فَوَاللهِ مَا هِي فِي يَدَكَ وَأَمَّا الرَّهْبَةُ فَوَاللهِ أَنَا بِبِلَادٍ مَا يَبْلُغُنَا جُيُوشُكَ وَلَا خُيُولُكَ وَلَكِنِّي خُوِّفْتُ فَخِفْتُ وَقِيلَ لِي آمِنْ فَآمَنْتُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «رَبِّ خَطِيبٍ مِنْ عَنْسٍ» فَأَقَامَ يَخْتَلِفُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ فَوَدَّعَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنْ أَحْسَسْتَ حَسًّا فَوَائِلْ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْقَرْيَةِ» فَخَرَجَ فَأَحَسَّ حَسًّا فَوَاءَلَ إِلَى قَرْيَةٍ فَمَاتَ بِهَا
انگریزی ترجمہ
Rabi'ah ibn Ruwa' al-'Ansi came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and found him having supper. He invited him to eat, and he ate. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to him: "Do you testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger?" Rabi'ah said: "I testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger." He said: "Out of desire or out of fear?" Rabi'ah said: "As for desire — by Allah, it is not in your hands. As for fear — by Allah, I am in a land that your armies and cavalry cannot reach. But I was warned, so I feared, and I was told to believe, so I believed." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "What an orator from 'Ans!" He stayed and would visit the Prophet (peace be upon him). Then he came to bid him farewell. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to him: "If you sense danger, take refuge with the people of the village." He went out and sensed danger, so he took refuge in a village and died there.
