Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:3984 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَفْلَحَ مَوْلَى أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَزَلَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَزَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي السُّفْلِ وَأَبُو أَيُّوبَ فِي الْعُلُوِّ فَانْتَبَهَ أَبُو أَيُّوبَ لَيْلَةً فَقَالَ أَنَمْشِي فَوْقَ رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَنَزَلَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «السُّفْلُ أَرْفَقُ بِنَا» قَالَ وَكَانَ أَبُو أَيُّوبَ إِذَا بَعَثَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِطَعَامٍ سَأَلَ عَنْ مَوَاضِعِ أَثَرِ أَصَابِعِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَبَعَثَ إِلَيْهِ أَبُو أَيُّوبَ بِطَعَامٍ فِيهِ ثُومٌ فَلَمْ يَرَ فِيهِ أَثَرَ مَوْضِعِ أَصَابِعِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَحَرَامٌ هُوَ؟ قَالَ «لَا وَلَكِنِّي أَكْرَهُهُ» فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَكْرَهُ مَا كَرِهْتَ أَوْ مَا تَكْرَهُ وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُؤْتَى
انگریزی ترجمہ
Aflah, the freed slave of Abu Ayyub, reported from Abu Ayyub that the Prophet (peace be upon him) stayed with him. The Prophet (peace be upon him) stayed in the lower floor and Abu Ayyub in the upper floor. Abu Ayyub woke up one night and said: "Are we walking above the head of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)?" So he went down to the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: "The lower floor is more convenient for us." Abu Ayyub used to ask about the spots where the fingers of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) had touched when he sent food to him. Abu Ayyub sent him food containing garlic, but he did not see any trace of the Prophet's fingers in it. He asked the Prophet (peace be upon him): "Is it forbidden?" He said: "No, but I dislike it." Abu Ayyub said: "I dislike what you dislike" — or "what you find disagreeable." And the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to be visited [by the angel].
