Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib narrated that his grandfather came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: 'What is your name?' He said: Hazn (meaning roughness/difficulty). He wanted to change his name, but he said: 'I will not change a name my father gave me.' Sa'id said: 'So that roughness has remained among us until this day.'
