Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:12449 حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ الْمَازِنِيُّ قَالَ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ انْطَلَقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي طَائِفَةٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ عَامِدِينَ إِلَى سُوقِ عُكَاظٍ وَقَدْ حِيلَ بَيْنَ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَبَيْنَ خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ وَأُرْسِلَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّهُبُ فَرَجَعَتِ الشَّيَاطِينُ إِلَى قَوْمِهِمْ فَقَالُوا مَا لَكُمْ؟ فَقَالُوا حِيلَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ وَأُرْسِلَتْ عَلَيْنَا الشُّهُبُ فَقَالُوا مَا حَالَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ إِلَّا شَيْءٌ حَدَثَ فَاضْرِبُوا مَشَارِقَ الْأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبَهَا فَانْظُرُوا مَا هَذَا الَّذِي حَالَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ؟ فَانْطَلَقُوا يَضْرِبُونَ مَشَارِقَ الْأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبَهَا يَبْتَغُونَ مَا حَالَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ فَانْصَرَفَ أُولَئِكَ النَّفَرُ الَّذِينَ تَوَجَّهُوا نَحْوَ تِهَامَةَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ بِنَخْلَةَ عَامِدِينَ إِلَى سُوقِ عُكَاظٍ وَهُوَ «يُصَلِّي بِأَصْحَابِهِ صَلَاةَ الْفَجْرِ» فَلَمَّا سَمِعُوا الْقُرْآنَ اسْتَمَعُوا فَقَالُوا هَذَا وَاللهِ الَّذِي حَالَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ فَهُنَالِكَ حِينَ رَجَعُوا إِلَى قَوْمِهِمْ فَقَالُوا يَا قَوْمَنَا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْآنًا عَجَبًا يَهْدِي إِلَى الرُّشْدِ فَآمَنَّا بِهِ وَلَنْ نُشْرِكَ بِرَبِّنَا أَحَدًا فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ عَلَى نَبِيِّهِ {قُلْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ} وَإِنَّمَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيْهِ قَوْلُ الْجِنِّ
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) set out with a group of his Companions heading for the market of Ukaz. The devils had been blocked from the news of the heaven, and shooting stars were hurled at them. The devils returned to their people who asked: 'What happened to you?' They said: 'We have been blocked from the news of the heaven and shooting stars have been hurled at us.' They said: 'Nothing has come between you and the news of the heaven except something that has occurred. So search the east and west of the earth and see what has come between you and the news of the heaven.' Those who headed towards Tihamah came upon the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) while he and his Companions were at Nakhlah, heading to the market of Ukaz, and he was leading his Companions in the Fajr prayer. When they heard the Quran, they listened attentively and said: 'This, by Allah, is what has come between you and the news of the heaven.' Thereupon, when they returned to their people, they said: {O our people, indeed we have heard a Quran that is amazing, guiding to the right course, and we have believed in it, and we will never associate anyone with our Lord.} So Allah revealed to His Prophet: {Say: It has been revealed to me...} and it was only the words of the jinn that were revealed to him.
