Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11755 حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عَبَّادُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْأَسَدِيُّ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَقَدَّمُوا الشَّهْرَ صُومُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ وَأَفْطِرُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنْ كَانَتْ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُ غَيَايَةٌ فَأَتِمُّوا الْعِدَّةَ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abbas reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: 'Do not precede the month. Fast when you sight it (the crescent moon) and break your fast when you sight it. If clouds come between you and it, then complete the count.'
