Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11560 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَ��َّى أَبُو يَعْلَى الْمَوْصِلِيُّ ثنا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ مَوْلَى غُفْرَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ رَدِيفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «يَا غُلَامُ أَلَا أُعَلِّمُكَ شَيْئًا يَنْفَعُكَ اللهُ بِهِ؟» قُلْتُ بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَقَالَ «احْفَظِ اللهَ يَحْفَظْكَ احْفَظِ اللهَ تَجِدْهُ أَمَامَكَ تَعَرَّفْ إِلَى اللهِ فِي الرَّخَاءِ يَعْرِفْكَ فِي الشِّدَّةِ إِذَا سَأَلْتَ فَسَلِ اللهَ وَإِذَا اسْتَعَنْتَ فَاسْتَعِنْ بِاللهِ فَقَدْ جَفَّ الْقَلَمُ بِمَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَلَوْ جَهَدَ الْخَلَائِقُ أَنْ يَنْفَعُوكَ بِشَيْءٍ لَمْ يَكْتُبْهُ اللهُ لَكَ لَمْ يَقْدِرُوا عَلَى ذَلِكَ وَلَوْ جَهَدَ الْخَلَائِقُ أَنْ يَضُرُّوكَ بِشَيْءٍ لَمْ يَكْتُبْهُ اللهُ عَلَيْكَ لَمْ يَقْدِرُوا عَلَى ذَلِكَ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abbas narrated: 'I was riding behind the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and he said: O young man, shall I not teach you something by which Allah will benefit you? I said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He said: Be mindful of Allah and He will protect you. Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him before you. Make yourself known to Allah in times of ease, and He will know you in times of hardship. When you ask, ask Allah. When you seek help, seek help from Allah. The pen has dried with what will happen on the Day of Resurrection. If all of creation were to try to benefit you with something that Allah has not written for you, they would not be able to do so. And if all of creation were to try to harm you with something that Allah has not decreed against you, they would not be able to do so.'
