Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11191 حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ وَعَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا مَرَّ بِهَذِهِ الْآيَةِ {وَنَفَسٍ وَمَا سَوَّاهَا فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا} وَقَفَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ آتِ نَفْسِي تَقْوَاهَا أَنْتَ وَلِيُّهَا وَمَوْلَاهَا وَخَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abbas said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would pass by this verse 'And by the soul and He who proportioned it, and inspired it with its wickedness and its righteousness,' he would pause and then say: 'O Allah, grant my soul its piety. You are its Guardian and Master, and the Best who purifies it.'
