Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11160 حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَيْفِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ يَهُودَ كَانُوا يَقُولُونَ هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا سَبْعَةُ آلَافِ سَنَةٍ وَإِنَّمَا نُعَذَّبُ لِكُلِّ أَلْفِ سَنَةٍ يَوْمًا فِي النَّارِ وَإِنَّمَا هِي سَبْعَةُ أَيَّامٍ مَعْدُودَاتٌ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ فِي ذَلِكَ وَقَالُوا {لَنْ تَمَسَّنا النَّارُ إِلَّا أَيَّامًا مَعْدُودَةً} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ {فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ}
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abbas reported that the Jews used to say: This world is seven thousand years, and we will only be punished for each thousand years one day in the Fire, so it is only a few counted days. So Allah the Almighty revealed regarding that: 'And they say, The Fire will not touch us except for a few counted days,' until His saying, 'therein they will abide eternally.'
