Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11155 حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ أنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ تَغْلِبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ {فَاتِّبَاعٌ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَأَدَاءٌ إِلَيْهِ بِإِحْسَانٍ} قَالَ كَانَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ إِذَا قُتِلَ مِنْهُمُ الْقَتِيلُ عَمْدًا لَمْ يَحِلَّ لَهُمْ إِلَّا الْقَوَدُ وَأُحِلَّتْ لَكُمُ الدِّيَةُ فَأُمِرَ هَذَا أَنْ يَتْبَعَ بِمَعْرُوفٍ وَأُمِرَ هَذَا أَنْ يُؤَدِّي بِإِحْسَانٍ {ذَلِكَ تَخْفِيفٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ}
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abbas said, regarding the verse 'Then follows it up with fair treatment and payment to him with good conduct,' he said: The Children of Israel, when someone among them was killed deliberately, nothing was permissible for them except retribution. But the blood money was made permissible for you. So the claimant was commanded to pursue with fairness, and the other was commanded to pay with good conduct. 'That is a reduction from your Lord.'
