Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11143 حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ الصُّورِيُّ ثنا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللهِ ﷻ {وَاذْكُرْ رَبَّكَ إِذَا نَسِيتَ} قَالَ «إِذَا نَسِيتَ الِاسْتِثْنَاءَ فاسْتَثْنِ إِذَا ذَكَرْتَ وَهِي لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ خَاصَّةً وَلَيْسَ لَنَا أَنْ نَسْتَثْنِيَ إِلَّا فِي صِلَةِ الْيَمِينِ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abbas said, regarding the saying of Allah the Almighty 'And remember your Lord when you forget,' he said: When you forget to make an exception (saying in sha Allah), then make the exception when you remember. This was specifically for the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and it is not for us to make the exception except within the continuity of the oath.
