Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Indeed, before the Hour there will be tribulations like pieces of dark night. A man will wake up as a believer and by evening become a disbeliever, and he will be a believer in the evening and a disbeliever by morning. People will sell their religion for a trivial worldly gain.'
