Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10829 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ النُّمَيْرِيُّ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْأَيْلِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ أَنَّ نَجْدَةَ الْحَرُورِيَّ حِينَ حَجَّ فِي فِتْنَةِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَرْسَلَ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ سَهْمِ ذِي الْقُرْبَى وَيَقُولُ لِمَنْ يَرَاهُ؟ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ هُوَ لِقُرْبَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَسَمَهُ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَدْ كَانَ عُمَرُ عَرَضَ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ ذَلِكَ عَرْضًا رَأَيْنَاهُ دُونَ حَقِّنَا فَرَدَدْنَاهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَبَيْنَا أَنْ نَقْبَلَهُ وَكَانَ عَرَضَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَنْ يُعِينَ نَاكِحَهُمْ وَأَنْ يَقْضِيَ عَنْ غَارِمِهِمْ وَأَنْ يُعْطِيَ فَقِيرَهُمْ وَأَبَى أَنْ يَزِيدَهُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abbas narrated that the share of the near relatives belongs to the relatives of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): 'The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) distributed it to them. Umar had offered us something from it which we considered below our right, so we rejected it and refused to accept it. He had offered to help with the marriage expenses of those who wished to marry, to pay off the debts of those who were in debt, and to give to their poor — but he refused to give them more than that.'
