Abu al-Tufayl said: "I was with Ibn Abbas and Mu'awiyah while they were performing tawaf around the House. Mu'awiyah would not pass a corner without touching it. Ibn Abbas said: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would only touch the Black Stone and the Yemeni corner.' Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'Nothing of the House should be abandoned.'"
