نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُجَاهِدًا , يَقُولُ:" إِنَّمَا سُمِّيَتْ بَكَّةَ لأَنَّ النَّاسَ يَبُكُّ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا".
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said regarding the verse: 'You will certainly be tested in your possessions and in yourselves' (Aal Imran: 186): This includes trials of wealth through zakah and expenditure, and trials of the self through acts of worship and patience.
اردو ترجمہ
مجاہد رحمہ اللہ نے فرمایا: بکہ کو یہ نام اس لیے دیا گیا کیونکہ لوگ وہاں ایک دوسرے سے دھکم پیل کرتے ہیں۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 514]
