حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَاعِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْإِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِالشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ:" مَا مِنْ مَالٍ أَعْظَمُ أَجْرًا مِنْ مَالٍ يَتْرُكُهُ الرَّجُلُ لِوَلَدِهِ، يُغْنِيهِمْ عَنِ النَّاسِ".
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The most beloved fasting to Allah is the fasting of Dawud - he would fast one day and break his fast the next. And the most beloved prayer to Allah is the prayer of Dawud - he would sleep half the night, stand in prayer for a third, and sleep for a sixth. And he would complete the recitation of the Quran every seven days."
اردو ترجمہ
عامر الشعبی رحمہ اللہ نے فرمایا: کوئی مال اس مال سے زیادہ اجر والا نہیں جو آدمی اپنے بچوں کے لیے چھوڑ جائے تاکہ وہ لوگوں سے بے نیاز رہیں۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 249]
