وعن أبي بكر رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : "ألا أنبئكم بأكبر الكبائر؟" قلنا: بلى يا رسول الله. قال: "الإشراك بالله، وعقوق الوالدين" وكان متكئا فجلس، فقال: "ألا وقول الزور!" فما زال يكررها حتى قلنا: ليته سكت. متفق عليه
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abu Bakrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "Shall I not inform you of one of the gravest of the cardinal sins?" We said: "Yes, O Beloved Messenger of Allah!" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, "To join others as partners with Allah in worship and to be undutiful to one's parents." The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) sat up from his reclining position (in order to stress the importance of what he was going to say) and added, "I warn you making a false statement and giving a false testimony. I warn you against making a false statement and giving a false testimony." The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) kept on repeating this (warning) till we wished he should stop.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابو بکرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: کیا میں تمہیں سب سے بڑے کبیرہ گناہوں سے خبردار نہ کروں؟ ہم نے عرض کیا: ضرور، یا رسول اللہ! ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ کے ساتھ شرک کرنا اور والدین کی نافرمانی۔ آپ ٹیک لگائے ہوئے تھے، پھر سیدھے بیٹھ گئے اور فرمایا: خبردار! اور جھوٹی بات! آپ اسے بار بار دہراتے رہے یہاں تک کہ ہم نے کہا: کاش آپ خاموش ہو جائیں (ہمیں آپ کی تکلیف کا خدشہ ہوا)۔ (متفق علیہ)
