وعنه أن أبا بكر الصديق رضي الله عنه قال: يا رسول الله مرني بكلمات أقولهن إذا أصبحت وإذا أمسيت، قال: قل: "اللهم فاطر السماوات والأرض عالم الغيب والشهادة، رب كل شيء ومليكه أشهد أن لا إله إلا أنت، أعوذ بك من شر نفسي وشر الشيطان وشركه" قال: "قلها إذا أصبحت، وإذا أمسيت، وإذا أخذت مضجعك". رواه أبو داود والترمذي وقال حديث حسن صحيح.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported:Hadrat Abu Bakr asked, "O Beloved Messenger of Allah! Teach me some words so that I may recite them in the morning and in the evening." The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "Recite these words: 'Allahumma fatiras-samawati wal-ardi, 'alimal-ghaibi wash-shahadati, Rabba kulli shai'in wa malikahu. Ash- hadu an la ilaha illa Anta, a'udhu bika min sharri nafsi, wa sharrish- Shaitani wa shirkihi (O Allah! Creator of the heavens and the earth! Knower of the hidden and the exposed! Rubb of everything and every one. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but You. I seek Your Protection from the evil of my own self from the evil of Satan and from the evil of Shirk to which he calls)."' The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) added: "Recite these words in the morning and the evening and when you go to bed.".
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت ابو بکر صدیق رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! مجھے کچھ کلمے سکھائیں جو میں صبح اور شام پڑھا کروں۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: کہو: اللھم فاطر السمٰوٰت والارض عالم الغیب والشہادة، رب کل شیء ومالکہ، اشہد ان لا الہ الا انت، اعوذ بک من شر نفسی وشر الشیطان وشرکہ (اے اللہ! آسمانوں اور زمین کے بنانے والے، غیب اور ظاہر کے جاننے والے، ہر چیز کے رب اور مالک! میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، میں اپنے نفس کے شر اور شیطان کے شر اور اس کے شرک سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں)۔ ارشاد فرمایا: یہ صبح، شام اور سوتے وقت پڑھو۔ (رواہ ابو داؤد و ترمذی، اور ترمذی نے فرمایا: حدیث حسن صحیح ہے)
