وعنه قال: جاء رجل إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال: يا رسول الله ما لقيت من عقرب لدغتني البارحة! قال: "أما لو قلت حين أمسيت: أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق لم تضرك" ((رواه مسلم)).
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that a man came to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said, "What a trouble I suffered from a scorpion which stung me last night!" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, "Had you said in the evening: 'A'udhu bikalimatillahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaqa (I seek the protection of Allah's Perfect Words from the evil of whatever He has created),' it would not have harmed you.".
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور کہا: یا رسول اللہ! کل رات بچھو نے مجھے ڈنک مارا اور بڑی تکلیف ہوئی! آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اگر تم شام کو اعوذ بکلمات اللہ التامات من شر ما خلق (میں اللہ کے مکمل کلمات کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں اس کی تمام مخلوقات کے شر سے) پڑھ لیتے تو بچھو تمہیں نقصان نہ پہنچاتا۔ (رواہ مسلم)
