وعن عبد الله بن أبي أوفى رضي الله عنهما أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في بعض أيامه التي لقي فيها العدو انتظر حتى مالت الشمس، ثم قام في الناس فقال: " أيها الناس، لا تتمنوا لقاء العدو، وسلو الله العافية، فإذا لقيتموه فاصبروا، واعلموا أن الجنة تحت ظلال السيوف" ثم قال: "اللهم منزل الكتاب ومجري السحاب، وهازم الأحزاب اهزمهم وانصرنا عليهم" ((متفق عليه))
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abdullah bin Abu Aufa (may Allah be well pleased with them) reported:On one occasion the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was confronting the enemy. He waited until the sun had declined. Then he stood up to address the people and said, "O people! Do not wish for an encounter with the enemy. Pray to Allah to grant you safety; (but) when you encounter them, show patience, and know that Jannah is under the shades of the swords." Then he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "Allahumma munzilal-kitab, wa mujriyas- sahab, wa hazimal-Ahzab, ihzimhum wansurna alaihim (O Allah, Revealer of the Book, Disperser of the clouds, Defeater of the Confederates, put our enemy to rout and support us against them).".
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عبداللہ بن ابی اوفیٰ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اپنی بعض لڑائیوں میں جن میں دشمن سے مقابلہ ہوا، انتظار فرمایا یہاں تک کہ سورج ڈھل گیا۔ پھر لوگوں میں کھڑے ہوئے اور ارشاد فرمایا: اے لوگو! دشمن سے ملاقات کی تمنا نہ کرو اور اللہ سے عافیت مانگو، لیکن جب تمہارا دشمن سے سامنا ہو جائے تو صبر کرو اور جان لو کہ جنت تلواروں کے سائے تلے ہے۔ پھر ارشاد فرمایا: اے اللہ! کتاب نازل فرمانے والے، بادلوں کو چلانے والے، لشکروں کو شکست دینے والے! ان کافروں کو شکست دے اور ہمیں ان پر غلبہ عطا فرما۔ (متفق علیہ)
