وعن عمر بن الخطاب، رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "إذا أقبل الليل من ههنا وأدبر النهار من ههنا، وغربت الشمس، فقد أفطر الصائم" ((متفق عليه))
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "When the night approaches from this side (i.e., the east) and the day retreats from that side (i.e., west) and the sun sets, then it is time for a person observing Saum (fasting) to break his fast.".
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'جب رات اس طرف سے آ جائے اور دن اس طرف سے چلا جائے اور سورج غروب ہو جائے تو روزے دار نے افطار کر لیا (یعنی افطار کا وقت ہو گیا)۔'
