وعنه، رضي الله عنه قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يرغب في قيام رمضان من غير أن يأمرهم فيه بعزيمة، فيقول: "من قام رمضان إيمانًا واحتسابًا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه" . ((رواه مسلم)).
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to urge (the people) to perform (optional Tarawih) prayer at night during the month of Ramadan. He did not order them or make it obligatory on them. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, "Whosoever performs (optional Tarawih) prayers at night during the month of Ramadan, with Faith and in the hope of receiving Allah's reward, will have his past sins forgiven.".
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم رمضان کے قیام کی ترغیب دیتے تھے مگر سختی سے حکم نہیں دیتے تھے، اور ارشاد فرماتے: 'جو رمضان میں ایمان اور ثواب کی نیت سے قیام کرے اس کے پچھلے گناہ بخش دیے جائیں گے۔'
