وعن أنس رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أخر ليلة صلاة العشاء إلى شطر الليل ثم أقبل علينا بوجهه بعدما صلى فقال: "صلى الناس ورقدوا ولم تزالوا في صلاة منذ انتظرتموها" ((رواه البخاري))
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported:Once the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) delayed the night prayer ('Isha') till midnight. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) turned to us after Salat (prayer) and said, "The people slept after performing their Salat, but you who waited, will be accounted as engaged in Salat throughout the period of your waiting.".
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ایک رات عشاء کی نماز آدھی رات تک مؤخر فرمائی، پھر نماز کے بعد ہماری طرف متوجہ ہوئے اور ارشاد فرمایا: 'لوگوں نے نماز پڑھی اور سو گئے، مگر تم جب سے نماز کا انتظار کر رہے ہو نماز ہی میں ہو۔'
