عن جرير بن عبد الله رضي الله عنه قال: قال لي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في حجة الوداع: "استنصت الناس" ثم قال: لا ترجعوا بعدي كفاراً يضرب بعضكم رقاب بعض" ((متفق عليه)) .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Jarir bin Hadrat 'Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported:Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) inquired me on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage to tell the people to keep silent, then he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, "Do not revert to disbelief after me, chopping the heads of one another." .
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت جریر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر مجھ سے ارشاد فرمایا: لوگوں کو خاموش کراؤ۔ پھر ارشاد فرمایا: میرے بعد کافر نہ بن جانا کہ ایک دوسرے کی گردنیں مارنے لگو۔ (متفق علیہ)
