وعنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "كان داود عليه السلام لا يأكل إلا من عمل يده". ((رواه البخاري)).
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported:the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "(Prophet) Dawud (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) ate only out of that which he earned through his manual work.".
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: حضرت داؤد علیہ السلام اپنے ہاتھ کی کمائی کے سوا نہیں کھاتے تھے۔ (بخاری)
