وعن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنهما قال: أقبل رجل إلى نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال: أبايعك على الهجرة والجهاد أبتغي الأجر من الله تعالى. قال: "فهل لك من والديك أحد حي؟" قال: نعم بل كلاهما قال: "فتبتغي الأجر من الله تعالى؟" قال: نعم. قال "فارجع إلى والديك، فأحسن صحبتهما" ((متفق عليه. وهذا لفظ مسلم)). وفي رواية لهما: جاء رجل فاستأذنه في الجهاد فقال "أحي والداك؟ قال: نعم، قال: "ففيهما فجاهد".
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'as (may Allah be well pleased with them) reported that a man came to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) of Allah and said, "I swear allegiance to you for emigration and Jihad, seeking reward from Allah." He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, "Is any of your parents alive?" He said, "Yes, both of them are alive." He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) then asked, "Do you want to seek reward from Allah?" He replied in the affirmative. Thereupon Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "Go back to your parents and keep good company with them"..In another narration it is reported that a person came to Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and sought his permission to participate in Jihad. the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) inquired, "Are your parents alive?" He replied in the affirmative. The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) a (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, "(You should) consider their service as Jihad."
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عبداللہ بن حضرت عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نبی اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور عرض کیا: میں ہجرت اور جہاد پر آپ سے بیعت کرتا ہوں اللہ تعالیٰ سے اجر کی امید پر۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کیا تمہارے والدین میں سے کوئی زندہ ہے؟ اس نے کہا: ہاں بلکہ دونوں زندہ ہیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تو کیا تم اللہ سے اجر چاہتے ہو؟ اس نے کہا: جی ہاں۔ فرمایا: اپنے والدین کے پاس جاؤ اور ان سے اچھا سلوک کرو۔
