أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، وَمُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ أَيْمَنَ بْنِ أُمِّ أَيْمَنَ، يَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ " لاَ تُقْطَعُ الْيَدُ إِلاَّ فِي ثَمَنِ الْمِجَنِّ " . وَثَمَنُهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ دِينَارٌ .
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated that Hadrat Ayman bin Umm Ayman (may Allah be well pleased with her) who attributed it to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated:"The (hand of) a thief is not to be cut off except for the price of a shield, and in those days the price of a shield was a Dinar
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ایمن بن ام ایمن رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے مرفوعاً روایت کیا: ہاتھ صرف ڈھال کی قیمت میں کاٹا جائے گا۔ اور اس وقت ڈھال کی قیمت ایک دینار تھی۔
