قَالَ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ، اسْتَفْتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي نَذْرٍ كَانَ عَلَى أُمِّهِ فَتُوُفِّيَتْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَقْضِيَهُ فَقَالَ " اقْضِهِ عَنْهَا ".
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated that Hadrat Al-Harith bin Miskin (may Allah be well pleased with him) said, it being read to him while I was listening:"From Sufyan, from Az-Zuhri, from 'Ubaidullah bin Hadrat 'Abdullah, from Hadrat Ibn 'Abbas, that Sa'd bin Hadrat 'Ubadah consulted the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) about a vow which his mother had to fulfill, but she died before doing so. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: 'Fulfill it on her behalf
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ سعد بن عبادہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے ایک نذر کے متعلق مسئلہ پوچھا جو ان کی ماں کے ذمہ تھی اور جسے پوری کرنے سے پہلے ہی وہ مر گئیں۔ تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”اسے تم ان کی طرف سے پوری کر دو“۔
