أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُطَرِّفَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ فِي صَوْمِ الدَّهْرِ " لاَ صَامَ وَلاَ أَفْطَرَ " .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Mutarrif bin 'Abdullah bin Ash-Shikhkhir narrated from his father that:the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, concerning one who fasted for the rest of his life: "He neither fasted nor broke his fast." 'Ata said: "someone who heard him told me that Hadrat Ibn 'Umar (said) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Whoever fasts every day of his life, then he has not fasted
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عبداللہ بن شخیر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے صیام الدھر رکھنے والے کے بارے میں فرمایا: ”نہ اس نے روزہ رکھا، اور نہ ہی افطار کیا“۔
