انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Urwah bin Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) that Arwa bint Uways made a claim against Sa'id bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) that he had taken some of her land. She brought the case against him before Marwan bin al-Hakam. Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Would I take her land, when I have heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)?" Marwan said: "What did you hear from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)?" He said: I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "Whoever wrongfully seizes a hand-span of land, Allah will make him wear a collar of it down to seven earths." Marwan said: "Now I will not ask you for any proof." After that Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Allah, if Arwa is a liar, then blind her eye and kill her in her own land." The narrator said: Arwa did not die until she became blind, and one day while she was walking in her land she fell into a pit and died. [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 970]
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا عروہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہارویٰ بنت اویس نے سعید بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ پر دعویٰ کیا کہ انہوں نے میری کچھ زمین لے لی ہے۔ اور ان سے مروان بن حکم کے پاس مقدمہ پیش کیا تو سعید رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ بھلا میں اس کی زمین لوں گا اور میں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سن چکا ہوں۔ مروان نے کہا کہ تم رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے کیا سن چکے ہو؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے سنا آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے تھے کہ جو شخص کسی کی بالشت بھر زمین ظلم سے اڑا لے، تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کو سات زمین تک کا طوق پہنا دے گا۔ مروان نے کہا کہ اب میں تم سے کوئی دلیل نہیں مانگوں گا۔ اس کے بعد سعید رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ اے اللہ اگر ارویٰ جھوٹی ہے تو اس کی آنکھ اندھی کر دے اور اسی کی زمین میں اس کو مار۔ راوی نے کہا کہ ارویٰ نہیں مری یہاں تک کہ اندھی ہو گئی اور ایک روز وہ اپنی زمین میں جا رہی تھی کہ گڑھے میں گری اور مر گئی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 970]
