Narrated 'Amra bint 'Abd al-Rahman: Ibn Ziyad wrote to the Mother of the Believers 'A'isha the Truthful (may Allah be pleased with her) that 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: Whoever sends a sacrificial offering (while staying at home, without Hajj or 'Umra), then those things which are forbidden to a pilgrim become forbidden to him until the offering is slaughtered; and I have dispatched a sacrificial offering, so tell me what the ruling is. The Mother of the Believers 'A'isha the Truthful (may Allah be pleased with her) said that it is not as Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said. I myself twisted the garlands for the sacrificial offerings of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he (peace be upon him) put them on their necks and dispatched the offering with my father, and until it was slaughtered nothing became forbidden to him (peace be upon him) that Allah the Exalted had made lawful for him (peace be upon him).
اردو ترجمہ
عمرہ بنت عبدالرحمن سے روایت ہے کہابن زیاد نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو لکھا کہ سیدنا عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ جس نے (بغیر حج و عمرہ کے گھر میں رہتے ہوئے) قربانی بھیجی، اس پر وہ چیزیں جو حاجی پر حرام ہوتی ہیں جب تک کہ قربانی ذبح نہ ہو جائے، حرام ہو گئیں اور میں نے قربانی روانہ کی ہے پس جو حکم ہو مجھے بتا دیجئیے۔ ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا کہ ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے جس طرح کہا ویسا نہیں ہے۔ میں نے خود رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی قربانیوں کے ہار بٹے ہیں اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ان کے گلے میں ڈال کر میرے والد کے ساتھ قربانی روانہ کر دی اور اس کے ذبح تک کوئی چیز آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمپر حرام نہ ہوئی جو اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمپر حلال کی تھی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 734]
