Narrated Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "O Allah! Forgive those who shave their heads." The people said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! And those who clip their hair too?" Then he said, "O Allah! Forgive those who shave their heads." The people said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! And those who clip their hair too (that is, pray for their forgiveness as well)." He (peace be upon him) said, "O Allah! Forgive those who shave their heads." Then the people said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! And those who clip their hair (pray for their forgiveness as well)." Then he (peace be upon him) said, "And those who clip their hair (forgive them too)."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ”اے اللہ! سر منڈوانے والوں کو بخش دے“۔ لوگوں نے عرض کیا کہ اے اللہ کے رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! بال کتروانے والوں کو بھی؟ پھر فرمایا کہ”اے اللہ! سر منڈوانے والوں کو بخش دے“۔ لوگوں نے عرض کیا کہ اے اللہ کے رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! کتروانے والوں کو بھی (یعنی ان کی مغفرت کی بھی دعا کیجئے) آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ”اے اللہ! سر منڈوانے والوں کو بخش دے“۔ پھر لوگوں نے عرض کیا کہ اے اللہ کے رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! کتروانے والوں کی (مغفرت کی بھی دعا کیجئے) پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ کتروانے والوں کی (بھی مغفرت فرما)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 729]
