Narrated Jubayr ibn Mutim (may Allah be pleased with him): A camel of mine was lost, and I went out searching for it on the day of Arafah, and what did I see but the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) standing with the people at Arafat. So I said, "By Allah, these are the people of al-Hums—how did they come all the way here?" (That is, the Quraysh did not come beyond Muzdalifah.) And the Quraysh were counted among al-Hums (those who did not go beyond Muzdalifah).
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا جبیر بن مطعم رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیرا ایک اونٹ کھو گیا، میں عرفہ کے دن اس کی تلاش میں نکلا تو کیا دیکھتا ہوں کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلملوگوں کے ساتھ عرفات میں کھڑے ہیں تو میں نے کہا کہ اللہ کی قسم یہ تو حمس کے لوگ ہیں یہ یہاں تک کیسے آ گئے؟ (یعنی قریش تو مزدلفہ سے آگے نہیں آتے تھے) اور قریش حمس میں شمار کئے جاتے تھے (جو لوگ مزدلفہ سے باہر نہ جاتے تھے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 711]
