Umm Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) commanded us to bring out on Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha our virgins, our young girls, the menstruating women and the secluded women. So the menstruating women were to keep apart from the place of prayer and take part in this good deed and in the supplication of the Muslims. I said: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! Some of us do not have a cloak. He said: Let her sister cover her with her cloak. [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim/Hadith: 431]
اردو ترجمہ
سیدہ ام عطیہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہہمیں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے حکم کیا کہ ہم عیدالفطر اور عیدالاضحی میں اپنی کنواری، جوان لڑکیوں، حیض والیوں اور پردہ والیوں کو لے جائیں۔ پس حیض والیاں نماز کی جگہ سے الگ رہیں اور اس کار نیک اور مسلمانوں کی دعا میں شامل ہوں میں نے عرض کیا کہ اے اللہ کے رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! ہم میں سے کسی کے پاس چادر نہیں ہوتی؟ تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اس کی بہن اسے اپنی چادر اڑھا دے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 431]
