Narrated Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): I went out for the prayer of breaking the fast (Eid al-Fitr) with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and with Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them all). It was their practice to pray the prayer before the sermon, and to deliver the sermon after it. Then he said: It is as if even today I am seeing the scene, that the Prophet (peace be upon him) came, gestured with his hand for the people to sit, then, passing through their rows, he came to the women, and Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) was with him, and he recited this verse: "O Prophet! When the believing women come to you pledging allegiance..." (Surah al-Mumtahinah: 12) until he finished it. Then he said: "Do you all affirm this?" One of the women among them said: Yes, O Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him)! The narrator said: I do not know who she was. He said: "Then give charity." Then Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) spread out his cloth and said: Bring it, may my father and mother be ransomed for you. And they all began to take off their bracelets and rings and put them into the cloth of Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him). [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim/Hadith: 428]
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہمیں نماز فطر (عیدالفطر) کے لئے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ اور سیدنا ابوبکر و عمر و عثمان رضی اللہ عنہما سب کے ساتھ گیا تو ان سب بزرگوں کا قاعدہ تھا کہ نماز خطبہ سے پہلے پڑھتے تھے اور اس کے بعد خطبہ پڑھتے تھے۔ پھر کہا آج بھی گویا میں وہ منظر دیکھ رہا ہوں کہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمآئے، لوگوں کو اپنے ہاتھ سے بیٹھنے کا اشارہ کیا، پھر ان کی صفیں چیرتے ہوئے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمعورتوں کے پاس آئے اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ بھی تھے اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے یہ آیت پڑھی ((یا ایّھا النبیّ اذا جاءک المؤمنات یبایعنک ....)) (سورۃ الممتحنہ: 12) یہاں تک کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماس سے فارغ ہوئے۔ پھر فرمایا کہ تم نے ان سب کا اقرار کیا؟ ان میں سے ایک عورت نے کہا کہ ہاں اے اللہ کے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! راوی نے کہا کہ معلوم نہیں وہ کون تھی۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ صدقہ کرو۔ تب سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنا کپڑا پھیلایا اور کہا کہ لاؤ میرے ماں باپ تم پر فدا ہوں۔ اور وہ سب چھلے اور انگوٹھیاں اتار اتار کر سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کے کپڑے میں ڈالنے لگیں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 428]
