Simak bin Harb said: I asked Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him), "Did you used to sit with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)?" He said, "Yes, often." Then he said, "It was his blessed habit to remain sitting in his place of prayer after the morning prayer until the sun rose. Then when the sun rose, he would get up and stand. And the people used to mention the affairs of the days of ignorance (jahiliyyah) and laugh, and he would smile." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 362]
اردو ترجمہ
سماک بن حرب کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا کہکیا تم رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس بیٹھتے تھے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہاں بہت۔ پھر کہا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی عادت مبارکہ تھی کہ اپنی نماز کی جگہ بیٹھے رہتے، صبح کے بعد جب تک کہ آفتاب نہ نکلتا۔ پھر جب سورج نکلتا تو اٹھ کھڑے ہوتے۔ اور لوگ دور جاہلیت کا ذکر کیا کرتے تھے اور ہنستے تھے اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلممسکراتے رہتے تھے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 362]
