Narrated the Mother of the Believers, Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her): When the dawn broke, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would pray nothing but two light rak'ahs (i.e., the Sunnah of Fajr). [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 358]

ام المؤمنین حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب فجر نکل آتی تو ہلکی ہلکی دو رکعتوں (یعنی سنت فجر) کے علاوہ کچھ نہ پڑھتے تھے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 358]
