Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) finished the recitation of the Fajr prayer (in the second rak'ah), he would raise his blessed head from bowing and say, "Sami'a Allahu liman hamidah, O our Lord, all praise is Yours," then, while standing, he would say, "O Allah, deliver Walid bin Walid, Salamah bin Hisham, and Ayyash bin Abi Rabi'ah (all these were Muslims in the hands of the disbelievers), and the weak among the believers (i.e., those oppressed under the hands of the people of Makkah). O Allah, tighten Your grip upon (the tribe of) Mudar, and afflict them with a famine like the famine of the time of Yusuf (peace be upon him) (as occurred in Egypt for seven years). O Allah, curse Lihyan, Ri'l, Dhakwan, and Usayyah (who disobeyed Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him))." Then we were informed that he abandoned this supplication when this verse was revealed: "O Prophet, you have no authority in this matter. Allah may, if He wills, accept their repentance, or, if He wills, punish them, for they are wrongdoers." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 355]
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب نماز فجر کی قرآت سے فارغ ہو جاتے تو (دوسری رکعت میں) سرمبارک رکوع سے اٹھاتے اور فرماتے کہ”سمع اللہ لمن حمدہ، اے ہمارے رب! سب تعریف تیرے ہی لئے ہے“پھر کھڑے ہی کھڑے کہتے کہ”اے اللہ! ولید بن ولید، سلمہ بن ہشام کو اور عیاش بن ابی ربیعہ کو (یہ سب مسلمان کفار کے ہاتھوں میں تھے) اور مومنوں میں سے ضعیف لوگوں (یعنی جو مکہ والوں کے ہاتھ میں دبے پڑے تھے) کو نجات دے۔ یا اللہ (قبیلہ) مضر پر اپنی پکڑ سخت کر۔ اور ان پر یوسف علیہ السلام کے زمانہ کی طرح کا قحط ڈال دے (جیسے مصر میں سات برس واقع ہوا تھا) یا اللہ لعنت کر لحیان، رعل، ذکوان اور عصیہ پر (جنہوں نے اللہ اور اس کے رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی نافرمانی کی)۔ پھر ہمیں خبر پہنچی کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے یہ بددعا چھوڑ دی۔ جب یہ آیت اتری کہ”اے نبی! تم کو اس کام میں کچھ اختیار نہیں ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ چاہے تو ان کی توبہ قبول کرے اور چاہے تو انہیں عذاب کرے، کیونکہ وہ ظالم ہیں“۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 355]
