انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "If people knew (the reward) of the adhan and the first row (of standing in it), and then found no way except to draw lots for it, they would draw lots. And if they knew the merit of praying at the earliest time, they would race one another to it. And if they knew the superiority of the Isha and Fajr prayers, they would come to them even crawling on their backsides."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: اگر لوگوں کو اذان اور پہلی صف (میں کھڑے ہونے کا اجر و ثواب) معلوم ہو جائے تو پھر اور کوئی چارہ نہ رہے کہ وہ قرعہ اندازی کریں تو قرعہ اندازی بھی کریں۔ اور اگر اول وقت نماز پڑھنے کی فضیلت سے لوگ واقف ہوتے تو ایک دوسرے پر سبقت کرتے اور اگر عشاء و فجر کی برتری جانتے تو ان دونوں کے لئے سرین کے بل رگڑتے ہوئے آتے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 268]
